Note on Jurassic Park: the classic Jurassic Park water ride at USJ (Jurassic Park The Ride) has been closed since September 2023 for a long-term renovation — it was not operating as of this writing. Best for families with young children who want Disney character experiences, princess meets, and the familiar park structure. Haunted Mansion and the Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast are the headline thrill rides. Can you visit both on one trip?

If you only have time for one theme park day total, the choice comes down to what you're going for: IP fandom and thrill rides (USJ) vs Disney brand and theming (Tokyo Disney Resort). There's no wrong answer — both are genuinely excellent by world theme park standards.
